Model Kandyan Garden Established at Makandura Farm

Establishment of the “Model Kandyan Garden” at the Pannala Makandura Eco-Agriculture Demonstration jointly run by the Movement for Land and Agricultural Reform (MONLAR) and the Sustainable Agriculture Research and Development Center of the Department of Agriculture took place on 04th May 2023.

Commemorating the special event, 250 plants were planted in the field. MONLAR Moderator Chintaka Rajapakse, Deputy Director of Agriculture (Research) Darshani Jayamanna, Assistant Director of Agriculture (Development) Mr. Pradeep Ranasinghe and Assistant Director of Agriculture (Development) Jayamini Nathavitarana were present at the ceremony.
